Utah Certified Welding Inspector

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Welding Inspector (Part-Time) in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee quality assurance at the fabrication facility for clients, including state Departments of Transportation and construction contractors
• Communicate with the Project Manager and other parties to resolve scheduling issues and ensure project requirements are met
• Generate and process necessary reports and maintain positive relationships with clients and fabrication facilities

Required Qualifications

• Certified Welding Inspector (American Welding Society) required
• NDT Level 2 UT-Shearwave & MT required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Significant knowledge of Precast/Pre-Stressed Concrete
• Experience in a similar inspection role
