Job Summary

A company is looking for a Regional Insurance Verification Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity of records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Obtain and update referrals and authorizations while coordinating with patients regarding their insurance benefits
• Review reports for authorizations and verify insurance benefits, updating patient accounts accordingly

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of revenue cycle in healthcare
• Familiarity with clinic policies and procedures
• Understanding of managed care contracts and utilization
• Proficiency in computer systems, programs, and spreadsheet applications
• Knowledge of medical terminology and CPTS/ICD-9
