Job Summary

A company is looking for an RCO Appeals Specialist responsible for researching and appealing denied medical claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and appeal denied medical claims while identifying insurance denial trends
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to prepare and support appeals
• Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor within the organization regarding appeal processes

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a healthcare revenue cycle role
• Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office, internet, and email
• Knowledge of State/Federal/ERISA and self-funded insurance laws
• Experience in healthcare insurance billing, follow-up, denials, and appeals preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
