Job Summary

A company is looking for an RCO Appeals Specialist to research and appeal denied medical claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and appeal denied medical claims using various contracts and laws
• Identify denial trends and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve denial management
• Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor within the organization regarding appeals

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in a healthcare revenue cycle role
• Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and internet use
• Knowledge of State/Federal/ERISA and self-funded insurance laws
• Experience in healthcare insurance billing, follow-up, denials, and appeals is preferred
• Bachelor's degree is preferred
