Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Utah Licensed Buyer II will manage the acquisition of products, equipment, and services, ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and facilitating communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the processing of requisitions to purchase orders for inventory and non-stock items, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Communicate effectively with end users regarding purchase order issues, including backorders and discrepancies
- Support supply chain operations by monitoring supplier performance and facilitating product returns as needed
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree in purchasing/supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Three years of supply chain management or purchasing experience required
- Familiarity with healthcare supplies and business practices preferred
- Experience with purchasing or materials software, such as Lawson, is preferred
- Competency in basic spreadsheet and word processing programs (Microsoft Office) is preferred
