Job Summary

Supporting accurate professional charge capture, the full-time remote Utah Licensed Charge Resolution Specialist will resolve Epic charge review work queue errors, collaborate with clinic Charge Champions, and enhance charge accuracy to improve revenue cycle performance.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews and resolves Epic charge review work queue errors to ensure compliant charge capture prior to claim submission
• Researches and corrects charge discrepancies, including missing charges and incorrect modifiers, using approved coding resources
• Identifies trends and recurring defects in charge review errors and escalates findings to relevant stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in medical billing, coding, or revenue cycle operations
• Experience working within electronic medical record systems, preferably Epic work queues
• Working knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding principles and payer billing requirements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks
• Ability to independently resolve complex charge issues
