Utah Licensed Commercial Counsel
Job Summary
Supporting the company's commercial legal efforts, the full-time Utah Licensed Commercial Counsel will handle the legal review and negotiation of customer contracts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive improvements in commercial contracting processes.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate customer agreements in partnership with sales and other stakeholders
- Support the negotiation of various inbound commercial contracts, including technology and consulting agreements
- Drive continuous improvement in contracting processes and develop internal policies and procedures
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial law, preferably in-house at a technology company
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active bar membership in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction
- Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating complex technology and commercial contracts
- Exceptional judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on continuous development and improvement of processes
