Utah Licensed Design Engineer

Job Summary

Managing multiple complex layout projects, the part-time Utah Licensed Design Engineer will drive PCB layouts for AR products, collaborating with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to implement miniaturization solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead designs from kick-off through tape-out for rigid, rigid-flex, and flex PCBs, providing timely project status updates
• Apply electrical engineering principles to identify project risks and propose workflow solutions for PCB development
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve design issues and ensure high-yield builds

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in complex PCB Design
• 5+ years of experience using Allegro PCB Design Tools (version 23.1 or newer)
• Strong understanding of the mechanical aspects of electronics design
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Experience implementing miniaturization solutions in dense form-factor designs is preferred
