Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Accountant to support the Finance Shared Services Center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Play a significant role in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned activities
• Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and assist with internal and external audit requests

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant general accounting experience
• Knowledge of general ledger accounting and month-end-close processes
• Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Understanding of SOX controls and internal control environments
