Utah Licensed General Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Utah Licensed General Counsel, the full-time remote role will provide legal support to the Executive Management Team on compliance, risk exposure, governance, corporate matters, and litigation while managing the corporate legal function across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Provides timely legal counsel on various issues affecting the business and represents the company on all legal matters
• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates commercial contracts, ensuring compliance with domestic and international laws
• Manages legal risks by implementing and enforcing company policies and coordinating corporate governance matters

Required qualifications

• J.D. degree required and licensed member of the Utah bar in good standing
• At least 7 years of legal experience as inside counsel, preferably in business/corporate law
• Strong experience in healthcare and/or education industries is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Superlative communication skills for effective information dissemination
