Job Summary
To support participants in their healthcare journey, the part-time remote Utah Licensed Health Coach will utilize evidence-based coaching techniques to guide individuals in achieving wellness goals, conduct structured coaching sessions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct structured coaching sessions and document participant activities and progress
- Assess participant needs and readiness for change, utilizing evidence-based health coaching models
- Provide education and adaptive coaching strategies tailored to individual participants' needs
Required qualifications
- Completion of a health coaching program approved by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) certification prior to hire
- Current Health and Wellness Coach Certified or will obtain within 12 months of hire from NBHWC
- Demonstrated experience in a healthcare or applicable care setting
