Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director Per Diem in Utah, with remote work options available.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve health care quality by consulting with inpatient attending physicians and reviewing member care histories
• Analyze hospital readmissions and collaborate with care teams to address access challenges and identify alternative treatment options
• Investigate sentinel events and quality of care concerns, presenting findings and recommendations to improve patient safety

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
• Current unrestricted physician license in Utah
• Board certified in Psychiatry
• 2+ years of management experience with multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of post-acute care planning and data analysis skills
