Utah Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support patient care in a fully remote environment, the full-time Utah Licensed Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists with medication refill authorizations and collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure timely access to prescribed medications.

Key responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in collecting clinical information and maintaining patient records as per regulations
• Utilize pharmacy technology to prepare medication orders and perform necessary calculations and compounding
• Communicate with caregivers regarding responsibilities and participate in quality and patient safety initiatives

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to the state of practice
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice
• Ability to perform physical requirements such as lifting and manual dexterity as needed for job duties
