Utah Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support patient care, the part-time Utah Licensed Pharmacy Technician will complete medication refill authorizations for primary care clinics in a fully remote role, collaborating with pharmacists and care teams to ensure timely access to prescribed medications.

Key responsibilities:

• Review patient charts and gather clinical information to verify eligibility for refill requests
• Prepare and document refill authorization requests in accordance with state law and pharmacy protocols
• Communicate with pharmacists and care team members regarding refill requests and potential safety concerns

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to the state of practice
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice and medication distribution
• Experience with pharmacy technology systems and electronic health records
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
