Utah Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

To support patient care in a fully remote environment, a full-time Utah Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage medication refill authorizations, collaborate with pharmacists, and ensure compliance with state regulations while working variable shifts between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Review patient charts and clinical information to verify eligibility for medication refills
• Prepare and document refill authorization requests using pharmacy technology systems
• Communicate with pharmacists and care team members regarding refill requests and potential safety concerns

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current pharmacy technician certification and/or license applicable to the state of practice
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice
• Experience with pharmacy technology systems and electronic health records
• Ability to work collaboratively within a remote team environment
