Job Summary
Supporting hydropower projects, the full-time hourly Assistant/Associate Project Manager will assist in project management tasks, including leading multidisciplinary survey activities, developing licensing documents, and collaborating with project teams, with the option for hybrid or remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Leading or assisting with hydropower projects from start to finish, including survey and permitting activities
- Collaborating with technical teams to develop content for environmental assessments and permitting documentation
- Reviewing technical reports for scientific and regulatory adequacy and maintaining project files using cloud-based resources
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in environmental planning, environmental science, or a related field
- Three years of relevant industry experience, including hydropower or project management
- Basic understanding of environmental regulations such as the Clean Water Act and the National Environmental Policy Act
- Familiarity with hydropower regulatory compliance and water storage projects
- Experience supporting or managing projects in diverse settings with changing requirements
