Job Summary

A company is looking for an SBA Loan Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial information to assist in the loan decisioning process
• Present analysis and recommendations to the Loan Committee for final decisions
• Collaborate with customers and third-party providers to gather necessary information for loan requests

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of three to five years of underwriting experience in SBA lending or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of commercial banking credit policies and procedures, loan structuring, and cash flow analysis
• Advanced working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
