Utah Licensed Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to manage financial processes and provide insights from daily transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
• Manage month-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and financial report preparation
• Process bi-weekly payroll and maintain compliance with accounting policies and sales tax requirements

Required Qualifications

• 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience
• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables
• Experience with accruals and GAAP compliance
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience; CPA is a plus
