Job Summary
Providing comprehensive support for retirement plans, the full-time remote Retirement Consultant will assist caregivers, participants, and retirees with inquiries, process retirement transactions, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist caregivers and retirees with inquiries and process retirement-related transactions, including pension administration and benefit payments
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, DOL, and IRS regulations while safeguarding retirement plan assets and accurately processing transactions
- Educate and consult with retirees on benefits, run pension calculations, and resolve discrepancies in participant data
Required qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in human resources or knowledge of the retirement industry
- Basic understanding of human resource and retirement-related laws and regulations
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets
- Prior experience with Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit Plans is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field is advantageous
