Job Summary

Providing essential support to local government clients, the full-time remote Utility Billing Support Specialist will assist with accounting and utility billing software inquiries, ensuring quick resolutions and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities
  • Analyze and resolve client issues related to accounting and utility billing software via email and phone communication
  • Lead client conversations about ERP solutions and strive for one-call resolution on support tickets
  • Maintain accurate ticketing records and follow up with clients to ensure their needs are met
Required qualifications
  • Experience or education in customer support, particularly for tech products
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with email ticketing systems such as Zendesk or Freshdesk is a plus
  • Knowledge of local government accounting functions like accounts payable/receivable and financial reporting is advantageous
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage a fast-paced work environment
