Utility Interconnection Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting solar project interconnections, the full-time Utility Interconnection Support Specialist will manage Meter Spot Applications and Tesla Backup Switch requests while collaborating across teams in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, prepare, submit, and track Meter Spot Applications and Tesla Backup Switch requests in line with utility/jurisdictional requirements
• Support the full lifecycle of each application, including status follow-ups, approvals, and escalations
• Coordinate with utilities on scheduling and payment processing for meter spot inspections

Required Qualifications:

• Preferably a college graduate; high school or college undergraduate may be considered with strong qualifications
• At least 1 year of experience as an Interconnections Coordinator or Meter Spot Specialist for a U.S. solar company
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Aurora Solar is highly preferred
• Proven experience managing solar projects from initiation to completion
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment
