Job Summary
Leading complex financial and rate-setting engagements for public sector utilities, the full-time Utility Rate Consulting Manager will serve as the primary client liaison, oversee project teams, and provide strategic guidance on financial planning and cost analysis, with opportunities for remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for utility clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strategic alignment
- Lead the development of utility rate studies, including cost of service analyses and revenue requirement modeling
- Manage multiple client engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables and clear communication throughout project lifecycles
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, accounting, public administration, or a related field
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in utility financial consulting or public sector consulting with project management responsibility
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Extensive experience presenting analytical findings to clients and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage competing priorities effectively
