Utilization Management Assistant

Job Summary

To support the Utilization Management Hub department, the remote Utilization Management Assistant will receive, process, and document payer communications while facilitating denial mitigation and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and document payer requests for clinical documentation and authorizations
• Coordinate peer-to-peer conversations and follow up on accounts lacking authorization
• Identify trends and report opportunities for process improvement to leadership

Required qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in a hospital, physician's office, or medical group related to payer communications or managed care
• High school diploma or GED
