Job Summary

Supporting the daily operations of the department, the full-time Utilization Management Assistant will perform clerical tasks, manage communication with insurance companies, and maintain accurate documentation while working remotely in Pennsylvania.

Key responsibilities:
  • Perform office functions including answering calls, assisting with insurance inquiries, and maintaining office supplies
  • Collaborate with Utilization nurses to ensure timely transfer of information to payers and accurate documentation of authorizations and denials
  • Maintain the Utilization Management SharePoint site and manage the UMA work queue for efficient operations
Required qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience
