Utilization Management Clinical Pharmacist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Management Clinical Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review utilization management requests for coverage, ensuring clinical appropriateness and cost-effectiveness
• Coordinate with pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and medical directors on utilization management activities
• Develop therapy-specific clinical policies and utilization management programs

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree required, PharmD preferred
• 1-3+ years of managed care (PBM or health plan) prior authorization experience
• Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of residence
• Availability to work 40 hours/week with potential evening and weekend shifts
• Detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and ability to lead projects and influence others
