Utilization Management Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Management (UM) Coordinator for a remote opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Support clinical, management, and client activities within the UM Program
• Process and track service authorizations, denials, and appeals while managing case assignments
• Assist with departmental initiatives and respond to client requests in a timely manner

Required Qualifications and Education

• High school diploma/GED required
• One or more years of experience in a healthcare-related field, preferably in managed care or utilization review
• Familiarity with UM systems and software such as CareRadius, CareAfiliate, RightFax, and Orion is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced regulatory environment and support team goals
• Must have a dedicated workspace for remote work and high-speed internet access
