Utilization Management Physician Advisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Management Physician Advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage, educate, and coach physicians and clinicians in appropriate documentation of medical necessity
• Ensure compliance with rules and regulations related to utilization review
• Provide expertise and support to hospital Case Management Department and Medical Staff on clinical documentation and medical necessity

Required Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree
• ABMS or equivalent AOA Board Certification
• Active state license
• Two years of experience leading improvements in clinical settings
• Experience with change management and implementation of new processes or technology
