Utilization Management Team Lead

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Utilization Management Team Lead will manage the daily activities of Utilization Management Coordinators, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the daily work of Utilization Management Coordinators for accuracy and compliance
• Create and maintain various reports for the Utilization Management team
• Act as the primary point of contact for inquiries and training assistance for the UM team

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Three years of experience in the healthcare field, preferably in a business office setting
• At least two years of prior experience in a Utilization Management Coordinator position preferred
• Experience with authorizations, billing, and collections in a medical office or hospital setting required
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and attention to detail
