Utilization Operations Manager

Job Summary

Providing leadership and operational oversight for non-clinical Utilization Management support services, the full-time remote Utilization Operations Manager will manage authorization intake, oversee staff, and ensure compliance while enhancing operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee daily administrative Utilization Management operations and supervise staff
• Ensure compliance with CMS and internal policies while monitoring operational performance and quality
• Implement workflow improvements and manage administrative work queues to meet turnaround time expectations

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of supervisory or management experience in a healthcare operations environment
• Managed Care experience
• Experience supervising administrative healthcare teams and in workforce management
• Experience in operational reporting and process improvement
