Job Summary

A company is looking for a Utilization Review Author - Weekend

Key Responsibilities:

Perform initial admission and continued stay reviews utilizing InterQual and MCG criteria
Abstract data from medical records to ensure accurate clinical data
Adhere to quality, timeliness, and productivity standards in review completion

Required Qualifications:

Current Registered Nurse license in state of residence
2 years of hospital-based Utilization or Case Management Experience preferred
3 years of clinical nursing experience
Knowledge of current Medicare rules and regulations related to Utilization Review
Experience with InterQual and/or MCG preferred
