Utilization Review Coordinator
Job Summary
A company is looking for a UR Index Intake Coordinator to manage electronic medical case files and perform intake processing for Utilization Review referrals.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan, index, categorize, and upload medical records to corresponding case files
- Process Utilization Review referrals and assist with administrative overflow tasks
- Interact professionally with healthcare professionals and handle incoming calls
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in computer programs, including MS Word and MS Excel
- Ability to maintain a HIPAA compliant home office environment
