UX Design Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the design system and component library, the full-time UX Design Engineer will maintain prototyping tools and collaborate with Product Engineers to ensure high-quality design standards while working remotely from the US.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end design system, including visual language, interaction patterns, and accessibility standards
• Maintain and extend the Storybook component library, ensuring components are documented, performant, and accessible
• Build and maintain prototyping tooling to facilitate rapid development of validated prototypes by Product Engineers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in product design and front-end engineering, with proficiency in Figma and modern front-end codebases
• Experience with production design systems and component libraries, specifically Storybook or equivalent
• Strong front-end skills, including React, TypeScript, modern CSS, and accessibility best practices
• Familiarity with AI-enabled design and prototyping workflows
