UX Design Instructor

Job Summary

Leading the User Experience Design Immersive course, the full-time temporary UX Design Instructor will teach and facilitate in-class instruction Monday through Friday, guiding students through the UX design process and helping them develop their skills and portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate in-class instruction for approximately 8 hours per day over a 10-14 week program
• Prepare lessons and materials, leveraging existing curriculum content, and provide meaningful feedback to students
• Inspire and support students in developing a final project that showcases their abilities to potential employers

Required qualifications

• At least 2+ years of experience in user experience design
• Fluency in topics such as Figma, UX Process, User Research, Usability Testing, and Interface Design
• Completion of a bachelor's degree or at least 10 years of applicable experience in lieu of a degree
• At least 2 years of practical experience within the last five years; teaching experience is not included
• Strong decision-making abilities and good moral character
