UX Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the design system and shared UI patterns, the remote UX Engineer will manage the development of reusable components and interaction patterns, ensuring design intent translates into production while collaborating closely with Design, Product, and Frontend Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Treat the design system as a product, evolving its components, patterns, and usage guidelines
• Design and maintain reusable UI primitives and interaction patterns for multiple teams
• Identify and address frontend UX debt inconsistencies and quality gaps

Required qualifications

• Strong frontend engineering skills in React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and Storybook
• Hands-on experience in building or scaling design systems and component libraries
• A keen eye for interaction design, usability, accessibility, and visual polish
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or insurance is a bonus
