UX/UI Coaching Mentor
Job Summary
To support students in their journey to employment, the part-time UX/UI Coaching Mentor will engage in one-on-one and group mentoring sessions, provide technical coaching, and conduct mock interviews, all while working remotely with a commitment of 10 to 30 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one mentor sessions and group sessions to provide technical and professional support
- Review student submissions and deliver constructive feedback on projects and portfolios
- Facilitate mock interviews and assessments, providing written feedback based on assessment rubrics
Required qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL, Advanced Excel, Tableau, Python, and Postgres, along with a strong statistical background
- Demonstrated genuine student advocacy and empathy for beginners
- Experience in teaching, mentoring, and/or coaching is a plus
- Must have a reliable, high-speed Internet connection and webcam
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and be coachable
