UX/UI Design Contractor

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time UX/UI Design Contractor to provide design services for product initiatives and feature development projects remotely, collaborating with Product Managers, Design Leads, and Engineering partners to create user-centered educational experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design user flows and create wireframes for web-based product experiences, including prototyping as needed
• Communicate design decisions and create detailed design documentation and developer handoff packages in Figma
• Participate in feedback cycles and design reviews, coordinating with project stakeholders to deliver work products within established workflows

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in Figma
• Experience designing responsive web applications with a strong understanding of usability and inclusive design best practices
• Experience creating detailed design documentation and developer handoff packages
• Experience working with established design systems and component libraries
• Ability to manage priorities and maintain momentum across multiple projects
