UX Writer

Job Summary

Owning the craft of writing in a collaborative environment, the full-time UX Writer will create in-product copy, design features alongside teams, and establish voice and terminology for a remote, 4-month contract position with potential for extension or full-time hire.

Key responsibilities

• Write end-to-end flows and in-product copy across the app, including interface text and error messaging
• Collaborate with designers and product teams from concept through execution to shape copy and layout together
• Develop voice and tonal guidance for both written content and AI-generated language within the product

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of UX writing or content design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing in-product copy
• Experience with UX writing systems and familiarity with industry standards
• Deep fluency with AI and conversational experiences, including dialogue and chatbots
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma and ability to work closely with prototypes and functional specs
• Strong instinct for clarity in technical or complex products
