Job Summary

Providing audio and video interpreting services remotely, the Independent Contractor International Audio/Video Remote Uzbek Interpreter will facilitate communication for the Limited English Proficient community through on-demand calls while adhering to professional standards and protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web-based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner while delivering superior customer service
• Adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct and maintain confidentiality standards

Required qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Uzbek
• Preferred fluency in Russian
• Technology proficient with web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience preferred
• Industry-specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
