Job Summary

Representing Veterans applying for VA Disability Compensation, the remote VA Accredited Claims Agent will manage claims and appeals processes, analyze records, and attend hearings while collaborating with clients and utilizing virtual options when available.

Key responsibilities

• Interview Veterans and gather necessary documentation for claims and appeals
• Prepare appeals with written summaries and evidence for submission to the Department of Veterans Affairs
• Attend hearings and evaluate claims for appeal, including potential travel to hearings

Required qualifications

• Accredited Claims Agent by VA Office of General Counsel
• One year of experience representing Veterans for VA Disability Compensation
• Minimum of a four-year college degree required
