VA Claims Processor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Processor to handle the processing and distribution of various VA claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate accounts for proper adjudication of claims
• Perform electronic claims editing and submit claims for payment processing
• Document claims processing activity into VA systems and maintain a working knowledge of applicable VA regulations

Required Qualifications and Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Preferred 1-2 years of experience in medical claims or related fields
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and general office skills
• Working knowledge of software such as Excel and Word
• Data entry and 10 key experience necessary
