VA Credentialing Program Manager

Job Summary

To revolutionize veteran healthcare, the full-time salaried VA Credentialing and Privileging Program Manager will lead transformational initiatives focused on modernizing credentialing processes, ensuring compliance, and enhancing veteran care access through strategic oversight and collaboration with executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and cultivate relationships with VA executive leadership, serving as a principal advisor on credentialing and privileging transformation initiatives
• Direct strategic planning and execution of VHA credentialing and privileging modernization initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and veteran care priorities
• Oversee the development of executive-level presentations and reports that effectively communicate complex credentialing and privileging strategies and outcomes

Required qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university
• 10+ years of experience leading complex team-based engagements within a consulting organization, government staff, or support contractor, with demonstrated healthcare expertise
• Proven experience in credentialing and privileging program management or healthcare compliance
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar quality with a minimum of 6 years' experience supporting a large corporation or government agency
• Extensive experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or military health systems
