VA Financial Systems Expert

Job Summary

In a full-time remote capacity, a VA Financial Systems Expert will lead the implementation of CGI's Momentum Financial Solution for the Department of Veterans Affairs, providing executive-level support during testing and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of testers and analysts in validating technical and business processes
• Provide direction and support for issue resolution, ensuring compliance with requirements and regulations
• Collaborate with customers, system vendors, and technical stakeholders throughout all project phases

Required qualifications

• A Master's Degree or a Bachelor's degree with equivalent certifications
• 10+ years of experience in federal sector financial management, including 5 years in a lead technical role with Momentum or similar solutions
• Strong knowledge of Veterans Affairs financial policies and procedures
• Team leadership and analytical thinking capabilities
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
