VA Licensed Inpatient Medical Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for VA Experienced Remote Inpatient Facility Fee (PTF) Medical Coders for full-time and part-time positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Code PTF charts in ICD-10 with a minimum accuracy of 95%
• Correct own coding errors without additional payment
• Meet required turnaround times for coding tasks

Required Qualifications and Education

• At least 2 years of experience coding for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
• Active credentials as a certified coder
• Formal training in anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and coding guidelines
• Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and DRG assignment
• High School Diploma or equivalent
