VA Medical Services Team Lead

Job Summary

Serving as Team Lead on the Women Veterans Quality Improvement Project (WV-QIP) Phase II, the full-time VA Medical Services Team Lead will leverage extensive knowledge of VA Medical Center operations to guide quality improvement strategies and ensure alignment with VA policies while coordinating stakeholder engagement and mentoring project team members.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive-level subject matter expertise on VA Medical Center operations to guide project strategy and outcomes
• Develop, review, and implement quality improvement frameworks and tools tailored to women Veterans' healthcare programs
• Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities to advance project milestones and deliverables

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in healthcare administration and executive leadership within the VA healthcare system
• Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree in a related field preferred
• Hands-on experience with VA organizational hierarchy and quality improvement methodologies
• Ability to obtain and maintain VA facility access credentials
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in a federal contracting or government program environment
