A company is looking for a VA Mortgage Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Review and underwrite VA mortgage loan files to ensure compliance with guidelines
Analyze credit, income, asset, title, and appraisal documentation for accuracy
Render timely underwriting decisions and communicate with stakeholders for additional documentation

Required Qualifications

3+ years of recent VA mortgage underwriting experience
An active VA SAR credential is preferred
Deep knowledge of VA guidelines, AUS (DU/LP), and federal lending regulations
Experience in a consumer-direct lending environment is a plus
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
