Vacation Rental Accounting Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Director of Accounting with deep vacation rental industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee trust accounting across multiple legal entities and ensure compliance with state trust laws
• Manage the preparation of monthly owner statements and resolve owner inquiries professionally
• Lead the accounting team, establish scalable processes, and ensure month-end close and financial reporting

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience, specifically in the vacation rental or short-term rental industry
• Proven expertise in trust accounting within a property management environment
• Hands-on experience with owner statements and payout structures
• Strong knowledge of PMS systems and accounting workflows
• Advanced knowledge of accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or NetSuite
