Validation Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time Validation Engineer will participate in the design and development of validation strategies for complex hardware systems, focusing on post-silicon validation and debugging of AMD processor and graphics-based systems in Austin, TX.

Key responsibilities

• Drive post-silicon hardware validation and silicon bring-up efforts
• Identify, isolate, and debug hardware and system-level issues using lab tools
• Develop and execute test plans while documenting findings to ensure thorough validation coverage

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of SoC architecture, PCB design, and hardware debugging techniques
• Hands-on experience with system validation and hardware bring-up tools
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and familiarity with BIOS and OS interactions
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
