Validation Engineer
Job Summary
To support the GIS Rack Integration Engineering Team, the full-time Validation Engineer will develop and support automation software for configuring, validating, and auditing Dell enterprise rack-based offerings while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the integration of software tool suites for system configuration and validation
- Develop Linux shell scripts, Perl, and Python packages for testing and deployment activities
- Support sample demand builds and coordinate priorities across GSP-RI business bases
Required qualifications
- Strong experience in embedded development of server control and management systems
- Fluency in modern networking technology and deep understanding of Dell Enterprise server and storage technology
- Knowledge of IPMI standards and cloud/big data software stack models
- Deployment and provisioning experience with Linux and Windows OS
- Strong understanding of relational database management systems (MySQL/Postgres)
