Valuations Manager

Job Summary

Leading the end-to-end collateral valuation function, the full-time Valuations Manager will manage a team of valuation analysts, oversee the valuation process, and ensure compliance with quality standards while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop valuation analysts while ensuring service level expectations are met
• Direct the collateral valuation process, including appraisal ordering, inspections, and final value determinations
• Maintain adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements through robust quality control procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree
• 10+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial real estate valuation, preferably within private lending or financial services
• Proven leadership experience managing valuation operations and third-party vendors
• Strong expertise in property valuation methodologies and collateral risk assessment
• Solid understanding of USPAP, FIRREA, and mortgage lending practices
