Value Added Services Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote Value Added Services Engineer, the successful candidate will manage daily operational and monitoring tasks within production environments, ensuring the stability and continuous improvement of deployed solutions for key customers.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Customer Network Operations for deployment, maintenance, and operational tasks
• Proactively monitor system health, diagnose equipment failures, and recommend configuration changes
• Lead analysis and discussions with other departments to resolve and prevent issues while maintaining clear communication with customers

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or another STEM program
• 5+ years of applicable experience in a relevant field
• Proficient in Unix/Linux operating systems and virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM)
• Experience with cloud architecture (AWS, Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and Perl, along with knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5)
